Privacy policy

Logic: code breaking processes personal data in accordance with the GDPR (EU 2016/679) and the Danish Data Protection Act (Act no. 502 of 23/5/2018). Danish supervisory authority: Datatilsynet — datatilsynet.dk.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: email, username, date of birth (19+), password (bcrypt hash).
• Agent data: chosen specialization (agent_type: cryptographer/hacker/detective) — stored as personal data.
• Subscription data: email, consent timestamp, IP address, chosen language, source='homepage_hero'.
• Game data: results, Code Coins balance, rank, Code Draw history.

2. Your rights (GDPR art. 15–22)

• Access and rectification (incl. switching agent): [email protected] — reply within 1 month.
• Erasure: Settings → Account → Delete account.
• Complaint to Datatilsynet: datatilsynet.dk | 33 19 32 00.
• Unsubscribing from marketing emails: link in every email — processed within 10 business days (Marketing Practices Act).

3. Storage of consents

Subscription consents (timestamp, IP, language) are stored for at least 3 years in accordance with the Danish Marketing Practices Act. After that they are deleted or anonymized, unless a specific dispute requires longer storage.

4. Data residency

Personal data is stored on servers within the EU (Frankfurt or Amsterdam region). No personal data is transferred to third countries without a valid transfer basis under GDPR Chapter V.
